Kite is a small, privacy-focused app for tracking cannabis use. You log sessions, pick from a catalog of methods and products, and do check-ins against axes you define yourself, such as mood, sleep or focus. Charts and insights then show how your use relates to how you feel.
Everything is stored in a local SQLite file on your device. There is no account and no cloud. You can back up and restore your data as JSON, or export it as CSV.
It is built with Tauri 2, a Rust core and a plain HTML/JS frontend, and runs on Windows, Linux and Android.
Disclaimer: Kite was vibe coded. I built it with Claude, using the Beagle planning plugins for Claude to shape the specs and plans (brainstorm-beagle, write-plan and quick-plan). Treat it as an experiment. It is early software (v0.1.0) and I make no guarantees about it.
